Blair 'chaired Kelly naming meeting'

BBC NEWS | Politics | Blair 'chaired Kelly naming meeting':

"The Ministry of Defence's top civil servant has told the Hutton inquiry that Tony Blair chaired a meeting which agreed the strategy which led to Dr David Kelly's name becoming public. "

Funny. I thought journalists were told that Tony Blair had "absolutely nothing" to do with the naming of Dr Kelly when they asked on the airplane he was travelling on when his death was announced? Blair's press office told the reporters that "The Prime Minister was not involved in the naming of Dr Kelly in way at all".

Well, except that he chaired the meeting at No 10 which decided he would be named then.

What a lying twunt.
